Ramadan is coming

Ramadan is coming, or in some places they have already started it.

This will be my first Ramadan and I hope I can make it correctly! I have made lists for me to remember what is the purpose of Ramadan and guides to learn the prayers. My mission on my first Ramadan is to learn prayers, because til now I have been learning from video and now I wanna learn my self from a paper, I think that's better :)

Between Palestine and Israel; I'm waiting for the prisoner swap between Israel and Hamas. I wish Israel would go for Hamas's demands about all the women prisoners to be freed.

The freeGaza ships has arrived Cyprus safely, here is a quote from a newsite:
Date: 30 / 08 / 2008 Time: 09:58
تكبير الخط تصغير الخط

Bethlehem – Ma'an – the Free Gaza ships arrived safely in Cyprus at 8pm local time, carrying seven Palestinians who would have been otherwise unable to leave the area, and most of the international activists who sailed the ships to Gaza.

In a statement sent to Ma'an the group said that the crossing to Cyprus was safe and uneventful, though earlier reports said that Israeli ships shadowed the boats until they reached international waters. LINK

I hope this is a start to a new era in Palestine's history and in history of this unfair siege.

What is the truth?

This morning I was surprised to read from my citys newspapers that Russias Prime Minister Putin accuses USA of planting Georgia-Russia conflict because of presidential competition. Mr Putin said that USA-citisens was in Georgia at the time..
That makes good sence I think and I also think that USA has been helping many other wars and conflicts to develope too..

About Palestine; those free Gaza ships has left Gaza, here is a copy from one news site

"When we arrived in Gaza last Saturday, it was the first time in forty-one years that anyone has freely entered Gaza. But our leaving is in a way even more significant. Last Saturday, two of our Palestinian members came into Gaza on these boats. Today, seven more Palestinians are leaving with them. They got exit stamps from the Palestinian government, they boarded the ships, and soon they'll be in international waters, and then in Cyprus. This is the first time, ever, that Palestinians have been able to freely enter and leave their own country. It's an incredible step forward, and a sign of greater things to come." Dr. Paul Larudee, a human rights activist from the USA travelling on the SS Liberty, told his colleagues over the phone.

The Free Gaza Movement promised to return the Gaza soon with another delegation and called on the United Nations, Arab League and international community to organize similar human rights and humanitarian efforts.

The movement further promised to continue to work to ensure safe passage between Gaza and the outside world. LINK

I think that is pretty important step and shows to all of us that we truly can resists Israelis unfair blockage and we all should take part of that, maybe not by going there, but atleast following the news and talking and writing about it and ancouraging it!

Maybe this could start a new page in the History of Palestine-Israel issue, maybe Israel is a bit by bit going to have to give up the opressing of the Palestinians, maybe, just maybe..
But surely this brings up more hope!

Dear Friend

Dear Friend, if you are reading this; I want you to now that I think of you all the time and I hope that you are in safe place and ok! I wish to hear from you, but maybe situation got to bad for you in your city and you had to leave, or maybe the israelis thought of you as a thread to them and took you to prison :(
I wish to hear from you someday!

The Free Gaza movement are still in Gaza with 2 ships and they are going to leave soon and take few Palestinians with them, here's a quote from their site:

"(GAZA CITY, 27 August 2008) - It was standing-room-only in Gaza City studios today as the Free Gaza Movement held a press conference to announce the departure of the SS Free Gaza and SS Liberty, and to reaffirm that 12-14 Palestinians, who have previously been denied exit visas by Israel, will be traveling to Cyprus on the two boats. Some of those leaving are students, with vaild visas or dual citizenship who have been accepted to universities abroad. Additionally, one Palestinian professor will finally be able to go back to teaching in Europe, and one young Palestinian woman will finally be reunited with her husband." http://www.freegaza.org/

Im happy that the ships could go safely to Gaza and that they are making a noise now and having publicity!

The boards are still closet and no ddate has been announcet when they will be open...

i am israel

I am Israel - I came to a land without a people for a people without a land. Those people who happened to be here, had no right to be here, and my people showed them they had to leave or die, razing 480 Palestinian villages to the ground, erasing their history.

I am Israel - some of my people committed massacres and later became Prime Ministers to represent me. In 1948, Menachem Begin was in charge of the unit that slaughtered the inhabitants of Deir Yassin, including 100 men, women, and children. In 1953, Ariel Sharon led the slaughter of the inhabitants of Qibya, and in 1982 arranged for our allies to butcher around 2,000 in the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla.

I am Israel - carved in 1948 out of 78% of the land of Palestine, dispossessing its inhabitants and replacing them with Jews from Europe and other parts of the world. While the natives whose families lived on this land for thousands of years are not allowed to return, Jews from all over the world are welcome to instant citizenship.

I am Israel - in 1967, I swallowed the remaining lands of Palestine - the West Bank and Gaza - and placed their inhabitants under an oppressive military rule, controlling and humiliating every aspect of their daily lives. Eventually, they should get the message that they are not welcome to stay, and join the millions of Palestinian refugees in the shanty camps of Lebanon and Jordan.

I am Israel - I have the power to control American policy. My American Israel Public Affairs Committee can make or break any politician of its choosing, and as you see, they all compete to please me. All the forces of the world are powerless against me, including the UN as I have the American veto to block any condemnation of my war crimes. As Sharon so eloquently phrased it, "We control America".

I am Israel - I influence American mainstream media too, and you will always find the news tailored to my favor. I have invested millions of dollars into PR representation, and CNN, New York Times, and others have been doing an excellent job of promoting my propaganda. Look at other international news sources and you will see the difference.

I am Israel - and you Palestinians want to negotiate "peace!?" But you are not as smart as me; I will negotiate, but will only let you have your municipalities while I control your borders, your water, your airspace, and anything else of importance. While we "negotiate," I will swallow your hilltops and fill them with settlements, populated by the most extremist of my extremists, armed to the teeth. These settlements will be connected with roads you cannot use, and you will be imprisoned in your little Bantustans between them, surrounded by checkpoints in every direction.

I am Israel - with the fourth strongest army in the world, possessing nuclear weapons. How dare your children confront my oppression with stones, don't you know my soldiers won't hesitate to blow their heads off? In 17 months, I have killed 900 of you and injured 17,000, mostly civilians, and have the mandate to continue since the international community remains silent. Ignore, as I do, the hundreds of Israeli soldiers who are now refusing to carry out my control over your lands and people; their voices of conscience will not protect you.

I am Israel - and you want freedom? I have bullets, tanks, missiles, Apaches, and F-16's, to obliterate you. I have placed your towns under siege, confiscated your lands, uprooted your trees, demolished your homes, and you still demand freedom? Don't you get the message? You will never have peace or freedom, because

- I am Israel -

Free Gaza ships

GAZA CITY, GAZA (24 August 2008) - Two days after the SS FREE GAZA and the SS LIBERTY arrived to a jubilant welcome in Gaza, 20 to 25 of the human rights watchers will go to sea with the fishermen in a show of support for their struggle to keep their industry productive.

According to a recent article in The Guardian, "in the 1990s, the Gazan fishing industry produced an annual income of around £5m. That had halved by 2007 and is still shrinking fast. Under the Oslo accords, which in 1993 were supposed to herald the coming of an independent Palestinian state, Gazan fishermen were to be allowed 20 nautical miles out to sea, where they could catch sardine as they migrated from the Nile delta up towards Turkey during the spring. But Israeli naval ships in recent years have imposed their own, much-reduced limits, sometimes fewer than 6 miles out."

Free Gaza ships

"They continued sailing although they lost almost all communications and navigation systems due to outside jamming by some unknown party. They arrived in Gaza to the cheers and joyful tears of hundreds of Palestinians who came out to the beaches to welcome them.

Two small boats, 42 determined human rights workers, one simple message: “The world has not forgotten the people of this land. Today, we are all from Gaza.”

Tonight, the cheering will be heard as far away as Tel Aviv and Washington D.C.

QUOTES FOR PUBLICATION

“We recognize that we’re two, humble boats, but what we’ve accomplished is to show that average people from around the world can mobilize to create change. We do not have to stay silent in the face of injustice. Reaching Gaza today, there is such a sense of hope, and hope is what mobilizes people everywhere.”
--Huwaida Arraf.

Huwaida is Palestinian-American, and also a citizen of Israel. She’s a human rights activist and co-founder of the International Solidarity Movement. In 2007 she received her Juris Doctor from American University in Washington D.C. Currently she teaches Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at Al Quds University in Jerusalem. Huwaida sailed to Gaza aboard the SS Liberty.

“We’re the first ones in 41 years to enter Gaza freely - but we won’t be the last. We welcome the world to join us and see what we’re seeing.”
--Paul Larudee, Ph.D.

Paul is a cofounder of the Free Gaza Movement and a San Francisco Bay Area activist on the issue of justice in Palestine. He sailed to Gaza aboard the SS Liberty.

“What we’ve done shows that people can do what governments should have done. If people stand up against injustice, we can truly be the conscience of the world.”
--Jeff Halper, Ph.D.

Jeff is an Israeli professor of anthropology and coordinator of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD), a non-violent Israeli peace and human rights organization that resists the Israeli occupation on the ground. In 2006, the American Friends Service Committee nominated Jeff to receive the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize with Palestinian intellectual and activist Ghassan Andoni. Jeff sailed to Gaza aboard the SS Free Gaza."

Free Gaza ships

I copy this text from www.freegaza.org
as I understand somebody is sabotasing their communication systems, obviously it's Israel, that wouldn't be the first time they sabotage something what would help or draw attention to Palestinians suffering!

(10am, 23 August, 2008) At 10am this morning, the Cyprus team of the Free Gaza Movement was able to briefly speak with our people on board the SS Free Gaza and SS Liberty. They are all fine, and they asked us to release the following statement:
"The electronic systems which guarantee our safety aboard the SS Free Gaza and SS Liberty have been jammed and scrambled. Both ships are flying Greek flags, and are in international waters. We are the victims of electronic piracy. We are currently in GMS P area A2 and we are relying on our satellite communications equipment to make a distress call, if needed.
We are civilians from 17 nations and are on this project to break the siege of Gaza. We are not experienced sailors. As a result, there is concern about the health and safety of the people on board such an emergency develop.
We are currently experiencing rough sea conditions, and we call on the Greek government and the international community to meet their responsibilities and protect the civilians on board our two ships in international waters."

Black middle ages

I found myself reading news about Palestinians living in black middle ages, first it might sound like ajoke or something fun, but when I saw these pictures I realised it's nothing like fun and it's actually very sad :(

Post from Palestine

My day was somehow different from the other days .. Much more fun in this day, met my friends, went out in something similar to picnics ..” Picnic“ .. it’s realy sarcastic that Palestinian one talks about picnics ..

Anyway, I’m telling you something happened there where we were sitting in a Cafe, it’s an ordinary thing we live it everyday, but maybe you will find it funny ..

While the talk we have “ I remember it was about Mahmoud Darwish “ We hear a Bomb, not so powerfull . then, we keep silent unlike all the attendants who “ I bet “ don’t take notice to it. Then an argument is going on between us, everyone is trying to approve his point of view .. Do u know what it was talking about ?

it was about the bomb .. Is it a deflation of an Israeli Apache or a batter ,, or maybe a Palestinian missiles :D

forget about that, Saturday Islamic Univercity “ where I’m studying English Literature “ begins after vocation prolonged for three months .. It will be nice to get back to Studying and meet your teachers an classmates and others . So pray for me and wish me good luck that I get high marks this term , much better than my 1st term last year “ I got 93.1 :D “ ..

I wish to hear from u soon ..

Ur sincerely

Post from Palestine

I’m Mo7ammed Suliman, 19 years from Palestine, let me say from Gaza .
Actually it will be my pleasure to share this plog with u to, I’m not here to give u real pic of horrible life of Palestinians cuz it becomes known for all I guess..

It’s now 8:19 am and I’m still awake .. u know why ?? cuz of this nice blog .. I spent the whole night reading it .. I felt that I’m the one who was writing, it’s realy a real mirror of what is happening here and there “ I mean West Bank “ .

Maybe I’ll be somehow different on my writing, not bcuz I’m Palestinian, but I feel that I’m really different . I won’t say that I’m the most Palestinian one who is suffereing . On the contrary I’m happy in my life although everything is going on here in my sweet land

Of course, I don’t have the fun of life like others in their country, but I’m happy cuz I know it’s not a permenant situation . it’s end is coming . Sooner or later ? that’s not the matter, the matter that it’s coming .. So it’s my message to all of u, Palestinian ,, No tears, No screams, No sads anymore .. Keep ur smile and do ur best not to miss it .. I know it’s hard but it’s not impossible ..

Regards

Feeling so helpless

My days are filled with uncertainity about my dearest friend from West Bank. I pray every day to hear from her and for her and her family to be safe from Israel.
Now I don't have any views about West Bank's situation which has been almost more bad then in Gaza last time I've heard, but I'll try to find news about both places and ask my friends in Gaza if they know.

The electricity supply is still so slight in Gaza and it has been cut off every day. Internet connections has also been very bad.

We are waiting free gaza ships to sail to Gaza http://www.freegaza.org/ Israel has threathen to use force against them if they enter Gaza coast.
free gaza movement is only trying to show solidarity to Palestinians by braking the siege by sailing two boats to Gaza, they have announcet to Irael that they are non violent activists and their mission is humanitary.
Obviosly Israel don't wan't any outsider to witness the horribility they are making in Gaza.
Those ships would have few reporters on board too and I hope they would get some footage and it would be shown to public too.
I'm actually pretty exited about this, I hope israel screws up really bad and we would get alot of evidence about their actions and with media we would get more people on Palestinians side!
This could be a little change to show the world what is the true nature of Israel. I have felt a little that Israel is on it's rush to think they are unstoppable and they will make a mistake sooner or later what will reach the world and make us turn our backs on them.
I'm just waiting for that mistake...

Every day I pray from God to give mercy to the people of Palestine..

But in my mind it is pretty obvious from whom will the world war 3 begin. And I feel it coming soon too.

About Khalil's and Linda's mission to take those medicins to Gaza is still on hold at the border.. http://www.gaza.tk/

What will happen?

I have not heard of my friend, I think she might not come to write to this blog in a while. I have a feeling she might be captured or maybe she got out to find more safe place to live? My prayers are with her til the end of my time <3

Khalil's and Linda's medicines are still held outside Gaza. I have now wrote 2 emails to Egyptian embassadors for showing my concerne and support to this matter. http://www.gaza.tk/

"Khalil Al Niss and Linda Willis from Balerno, Edinburgh, spent more than 10 days travelling across Europe with an estimated 1.5 tons of medical supplies donated by Scots. But the van has been stuck at the border between Egypt and Gaza for nearly a fortnight after officials refused them entry to the territory, claiming they do not have the correct paperwork.
The couple supported by the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign were destined to take the supplies for use in the hospitals of Gaza, where there is a severe shortage of basic medical necessities."

I hope they let them through soon so the sick people would get a little help.

We all can help in this and write emails , I copy this from their site the adress above (www.gaza.tk)

Khalil and Linda are still waiting in El Arish waiting for permission from Cairo to deliver the Scottish medicines to the people of Gaza.
Supporters have sent emails and telephoned the Egyptian Consulate in the UK. If you have received 'undelivered' messages when trying to send emails please try the following email addresses:

Egyptian Consulate Press Office: info@egpressoffice.com

Eva Bartlett, Daily News Egypt, July 21, 2008

Linda, a nurse in Scotland, explained the coordination with Gaza’s doctors: “We spoke with a doctor in one of Gaza’s hospitals. He’s desperate for the medicine and equipment we’re bringing. He’s particularly thrilled about the endotracheal tubes used in surgery that we are bringing as he says they are re-using the only tubes they have right now.” read full article

Subject: Please help to get these Scottish medicines through to Gaza

Dear Sir

I am writing to ask you to use your good offices to expedite the delivery of medicines that I and many others in Scotland collected to deliver to the desperate people of Palestine.

Khalil Al Niss and Linda Willis left Scotland on Thursday, July 10th and arrived yesterday at the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza.

I must stress that they, and the Palestinians, enjoy great sympathy here in Scotland, where more and more people know that over 200 Palestinian patients have died in the past 12 months as a result of the siege for lack of medication or for not being allowed to leave the Gaza Strip for medical treatment.

The van with its cargo of medicine is urgently needed in Gaza. It has travelled across Europe and the Middle East to Egypt’s Rafah border with Gaza. As you know, the Israeli siege is causing critical shortages of all medical supplies, needless deaths and immense suffering. Archbishop Desmond Tutu recently visited Gaza and called Israel’s siege an ‘abomination’.

Please do not allow this delivery to be delayed any further.

We expect Egyptians to help the people of Gaza, not work to enforce Israel’s brutal siege.

Yours faithfully

Mick Napier
Scottish PSC

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Please continue sending your messages.

Dear Sir,

There are many Scots here in Scotland who stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza, and deplore the unfair siege that is imposed on the whole population. And it is with the spirit of charity and humanity that many well-meaning Scots have sent more than a tonne of medicines with a couple named Khalil and Linda to the people of Gaza (many of whom have already died due to lack of medicines because of the unjust siege).

I write to you at the consulate because word has reached me that the medicines (and Khalil and Linda) have been barred from entering Gaza from the Rafah border point. Most disgracefully, the ones preventing the aid from reaching the innocent people of Gaza are not the Israelis in this case, but the Egyptian border police. I find it inexcusable that Egypt, (an Arab, predominantly Muslim country, and whose people are 100% in support of human rights and Palestinians' basic rights) should act so brazenly against the will of its own people, and against the basic human rights of innocent Palestinians, by helping Israel in enforcing this deadly siege.

I implore you to take actions to lift this siege. Allow the medicines through to Gaza. These medicines were driven to Rafah all the way from Scotland, do not let the good will and efforts of us in Scotland to go to waste. More importantly, do not sit idly by while more people needlessly die, go hungry, or go sick. Do not think that those responsible for this tragedy will escape accountability.

Looking forward to your positive actions,
Sincerely,
Mohammad Al-Ashqar

Bad Israel

I still haven't heard anything from my friend and I feel so sad about it. I pray every night for her to be safe and ok. I hope God hears me.

For Israel; nothing has changed. They continue their crimes and violations and takes no responcibility of any of their actions.
Last April, Israeli tank shot dead 4 civilians, including Reuters cameraman and 2 children but the crew of this tank will not face any legal actions.
"this response once again underlines the chronic failure of the State of Israel and its Occupation Forces to conducts proper investigations into the hundreds of crimes they have committed against Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territory" was stated by Palestinian Centre of Human Rights.
The statement also said that Israelis killed 9 journalists and injured at least 170 journalists since the start of the second intifada in September 2000.

Seems there is no stopping on Israel, they are determined to have the whole Palestine no matter what it costs and no power is mighty enough to question their actions..

And more innocent are going to die

I pray for Palestine

I don't belive the situation in Palestine has gone any better. In West Bank it could be even worse than in Gaza?
A lot of people get's into jails all the time and killed too.
I just wish easier days to Palestine, I think they have suffered enough already..

My friend, if you are reading this; I am praying for you every night and day. I just wish to hear from you. I hope the Israelis have not hurt you or your family.

I'm still a bit in shock about my friend, it has been now maybe 3 weeks without any contact with her and I'm so so worried and scared.. I think of the worse that could have happen and hope that the reason for her disappearance is only busy or something else!
My mind isn't working right and I don't know what to write now.. I wish i could give you something to read so I'll copy some short news here..

"Jenin – Ma'an - Israeli military bulldozers uprooted olive trees and tilled-under agricultural land between the military camp of Salem and Rummana village at the northern tip of the West Bank on Thursday.

The lands were confiscated on Tuesday.

One of the owners of the confiscated and now destroyed land Mahmoud Taher Bushnaq said that Israeli forces issued a decision two days ago to confiscate the land and to uproot the olive trees.

"I thought that the bulldozers came to the lands to provide enough space for the troops to train and have their exercises because our land lies along the camp," Bushnaq explained.

He also said that he hoped to object to the confiscation order and bring the issue to court. "They did not give me any time," he said. "They rapidly implemented their confiscation and destruction plan." http://www.maannews.net/en/index.php?opr=ShowDetails&ID=31289

"Bethlehem – Ma'an – Seven Palestinians including two young boys were detained early Thursday morning during an Israeli raid at Ad-Duheisha camp south of Bethlehem.

The two young boys were also injured during the raid, when Israeli solders fired live bullets into the air.

Palestinian security sources reported to Ma'an that Israeli forces detained two young boys, Hamada As-Salihi and Hamdi Al-Atrash after they were injured with Israeli bullets during clashes at the camp following the Israeli invasion.

Also detained were 30-year-old Muhammad Yahya Al-Qassas, 32-year-old Adnan Naim Al-Qabu, 27-year-old Mohamed Hussein Al Najjar as well as Wael Khalil 'Atallah, and Ra'fat Abu 'Akr. All of the men were affiliated with the Popular front for the Liberation of Palestine, a leftist party with a military wing." http://www.maannews.net/en/index.php?opr=ShowDetails&ID=31281

"Hebron – Ma’an – Twenty Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the West Bank town of Taffuh, west of the city of Hebron, on Wednesday morning.

Young Palestinian men responded by throwing stones at the invading forces. Israeli troops have been shooting rubber coated metal bullets and sound grenades at the Palestinians.

Local and security sources told Ma’an that Israeli troops are conducting house to house searches, causing property damage. No injuries have been reported." http://www.maannews.net/en/index.php?opr=ShowDetails&ID=31267

dear friend

Dear friend, I miss you so much and I'm so worried about your destiny, what happened to you? Are you safe, are you even alive??
My eyes fill up with tears when I think of all the things what may have happen to you. I can only hope and pray that there is a different reason why we havent heard from you anymore.
I have no words, no idea what to write. I just copy this poem here..

Tears of Blood

December 2001

Laila Yaghi

Sometimes tears have to drop

But too many tears turn into blood

Oh Palestine my ancestors’ land

Your earth has turned into red-colored sand

In it you have buried so many boys

Innocent, young still playing with toys

But their little hearts have turned into men

So fast before they had a chance to begin

A life like other men with family and kin

Born into their own country they face persecution

And live their lives full of confusion

Oh little boy playing with sand

Shot dead from snipers in your own land

Mother’s tears fall like razor sharp

Penetrating down deep with permanent scars

Oh world wake up his mother screams

Another atrocity with holocaust fears

Peace has been written in Rainbow colors

And doves are praying for all the mothers.

really worried

Ok, now it has gone too long and I have not heard from my friend, not a single thing! I'm pretty sure something real bad has happened there! Maybe the Israelis got her too.. Maybe because of writing this blog?? Israelis consider this a danger to their country!! But this is nothing more than writing a diary about mine and her's life, is it wrong?? Oh yeah, ofcourse it is.. because all the world might realise the crimes that the israelis commit everyday!!!
I'm really worried, so so worried.. I have heard how they get tortured in those prisons.. Only because of minor things like this blog.. or even more little things than this.. Israel don't tolerate anything negative about them, Palestinians should just adapt to the situation or move away!!
And they turture them all, young ones, old ones, women and men, no matter who you are or if you are sick or otherwise in bad condition they torture you anyway!!

I hope my friend is only been busy and she is fine and her family too, I just wish to hear from her.
Don't worry my dear friend, my prayers are with you where ever you are..

In Prison?

It's been too long since I have last time heard from my friend. I'm getting really worried. I'm scared if the Israelis has taken her too and put to prison?
There is a chaos now in Palestine I think. Everybody suspects everybody and the athmosphere is very very tence.. like almost they could smell something happening soon..

I just hope Israel would stop punishing Palestinians and would go to peace.

Friends, what a mysterious concept

I'm a member of this big internet society and I found some of my very old friends there, friends who I have seen only time to time and by accindent these years.
The funny thing is, they refused to be my friends as soon as they realised that I'm a muslim.
Isn't it sad that someone who you have known for many years and with who you have shared many things don't even bother to ask how are you doing? Isn't it sad that someone is so prejudise that they cannot be friends with an old friend because of her religion? Would they have reacted the same way if I would have been christian or something else?
I wonder what they thought of when they made the decision not to be my friends anymore..
Maybe they thought that I'm a terrorist hehe, or maybe they thought that I've gone crazy? Yeah, who rational and normal person would ever become a muslim by her own choise? That's what most people here think. If someone turns in to Islam, they must be crazy or forced to do it. That's how "we" think here..
I feel a little shame again, to be a Finnish.
Well, I think they are the ones who loses here if they have so small minds that a certain religion don't fit in their worlds, even if the person behind the religion had once been loved and dear friend of theirs.
It's very mysterious how life turns out some things in it. You may find a lovely thing what makes you feel whole and gives you many desireable things, but the same time it takes something away from you.
I am happy to have so many good friends and sisters and brothers too and I am happy to find a way what is good for me. I am sad to lose some of my good friends, but maybe they wasn't so good afterall, right?
;)

Rainy day in Finland

It's been a while when I have last posted anything here, but now I feel that I wan't to write something..
I was watching this amateur video (link) what was shot by an European activist in Palestine. Ofcourse nothing in it was news to me anymore, but it's a whole different thing to look only pictures and read and hear stories; than watch actual things to happen in a video with a sound.

It's almost impossible to understand what I saw in this video, there was this city what was already mostly demolished, but people was still living there.
They we're on their daily businesses, some came from school I think, some from crocery store some was outside on their free time. And suddenly on the street was shooting heard and bullets made the sand on the road whirl and everybody ran to cover behind corners. There we're boys and girls, kids and adults. Ordinary people without any weapons.

Soon the tank was shown in the video when it arrived to the crossing where near some of the people we're hiding behind garbage cans. Then from a small window in the tank, was shot many shots towards the hiding people and to the streets.
It's is so hard to understand how they come with big tanks and weapons and they use those like in real war but only the "enemy" has no guns, no army and they are civilians!
This is something that I don't understand!? How is this possible??

About

This is a diary born out of concerns of a never ending misery of Palestinian people trying to survive in conditions where they have no human dignity, no oppertunity to ordinary life, no daily life supplies, things that some of us don't think about much...A diary of 2 friends bonded with freedom, and looking for spreading the truth. [As my friend from Palestine is unavailable to write att the moment, I will try to cover the Palestinian view by copying news and interviewing my other Palestinian friends and asking them to write stories too] A gate to the land of Palestine, where freedom is a dream, and truth is hard to be seen.
