Last night I was thinking on occupied countrys. Palestine sure is not the only one under foreign oppression.
I quote from one website:

"It has become clear, very quickly, that Iraq is not a liberated country, but an occupied country. We became familiar with the term "occupied country" during World War II. We talked of German-occupied France, German-occupied Europe. And after the war we spoke of Soviet-occupied Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Eastern Europe. It was the Nazis, the Soviets, who occupied other countries.

Now we are the occupiers. True, we liberated Iraq from Saddam Hussein, but not from us. Just as in 1898 we liberated Cuba from Spain, but not from us. Spanish tyranny was overthrown, but the United States established a military base in Cuba, as we are doing in Iraq. U.S. corporations moved in to Cuba, just as Bechtel and Halliburton and the oil corporations are moving into Iraq. The United States was deciding what kind of constitution Cuba would have, just as our government is now forming a constitution for Iraq. Not a liberation, an occupation.

And it is an ugly occupation. On August 7, The New York Times reported that U.S. General Ricardo Sanchez in Baghdad was worried about Iraqi reaction to the occupation. Iraqi leaders who were pro-American were giving him a message, as he put it: "When you take a father in front of his family and put a bag over his head and put him on the ground you have had a significant adverse effect on his dignity and respect in the eyes of his family." (That's very perceptive.)" LINK

So it's us westerns who are occupieing alot of countrys, maybe from reasons that benefit us too?
Everyone knows what happened in Iraq, first there was supposed to be some nuclear weapons, but there wasn't now many American oil companies are located to Iraq and many Americans are in administrative possessions in Iraqis governance.
...and the world may wonder.. what was the true reason on invading Iraq?

another quote from the same site:

"Well, Rumsfeld has clarified things for us.

That explains why this government, not knowing exactly where to find the criminals of September 11, will just go ahead and invade and bomb Afghanistan, killing thousands of people, driving hundreds of thousands from their homes, and still not know where the criminals are.

That explains why the government, not really knowing what weapons Saddam Hussein is hiding, will invade and bomb Iraq, to the horror of most of the world, killing thousands of civilians and soldiers and terrorizing the population.

That explains why the government, not knowing who are terrorists and who are not, will put hundreds of people in confinement at Guantanamo under such conditions that twenty have tried to commit suicide.

That explains why, not knowing which noncitizens are terrorists, the Attorney General will take away the constitutional rights of twenty million of them.

The so-called war on terrorism is not only a war on innocent people in other countries, but it is also a war on the people of the United States: a war on our liberties, a war on our standard of living. The wealth of the country is being stolen from the people and handed over to the super-rich. The lives of our young are being stolen. And the thieves are in the White House."

In Palestine; USA let's Israel do the dirty work for them or maybe it's the other way around; maybe Israel let's US do their dirty work in other Arab countrys..?

Sure in some cases it would be a good thing for someone steps in if the country is having human rights stomped on, but has that been the true reason and the only reason for US to step in in so many plases? I don't think so..

Who is the terrorist really?

The word terrorism has many definitions. The most known to us is maybe a terrorist who is trying to get to their point by violence against innocent civilians. The people fighting against these terrorist usually wears army clothes and so on..
The idea of a terrorist is implanted to our brains so deep that it is nearly impossible to us to see clearly.
What the terrorist also had advanced army equipment and was defending their rights to their ideology and lifestyle, which side would we call terrorists now?

We think that countrys living in simple conditions whit simple rules are retarded and we keep this our right towards " humanity" to go there and "liberate" this nation from these retarded rules and rulers.
But isn't this only our opinion? How do we know for sure that our way of life is the right one??
Is our way so good? Drunken people, rapists, criminals, poors and so on..
Our society is rotten.
We don't care about our old people, we don't care about our poor people. The young and the wealthy are doing fine and that is all we see.
But that ain't the right way or is it??
But still we wan't our way to spread all over the world, we think all the humans in this planet want's to live the same way that we do. We do not respect any other way of living! What makes us better to decide what kind of life should all the humans live on this planet?
Who gave us the right to make that decision??
